    Molecular mechanisms of cancer treatments for solid tumours

    Description: This is a one-day course in which I describe the science behind a wide range of licensed and experimental cancer treatments, explaining their mechanism of action at a molecular and cellular level. Treatments described include: growth factor receptor inhibitors, kinase inhibitors, monoclonal antibodies, PARP inhibitors, ALK inhibitors, CDK inhibitors, immunotherapy with checkpoint inhibitors.

    Audience: Ideal for pharmacists, research nurses, pharmaceutical companies, junior doctors or anyone who has been on one of Elaine’s other courses
